IMED Reflection

This fall I have learned how to use Adobe Photoshop to create multiple projects, such as editing pictures, design postcards and book covers as well as how to edit a video. I also learned how to create and add effects to a video by using Adobe Flash. I felt  as if working with flash was my greatest achievement, because I understood the concepts and materials more although they are similar to a few of the tools in Photoshop. I would say that my greatest challenge was constructing the website because I had difficulty figuring out how to use Dreamweaver and its codes. I tried my best to construct descent work on all of my projects. Overall, I enjoyed the class and found it to be interesting.

Plans for the next 2 weeks

I plan on adding audio to my psych video in oder to improve it. Afterwards I want to continue working on my career website and upload my video to it. In addition I also have to update my finished website on filezilla, so that my finished product will be uploaded.  

My Story Board/Video ideas

The only ideas that i've had so far is to make a "how to apply loose glitter eye make-up" video since that is something that I am interested in and a lot of people ask me how I do my make-up. Another idea would be to create a "how to parallel park" video.

Web Unit Reflection

I learned that creating a website can be rather difficult if you do not know how to find and replace the codes in order to format your page exacly how you want it.Constructing a website takes time before  its near perfect. Knowing how to do a few basic steps and making your page live can be exciting. The only things that I would do differently next time are adding a fair amount of links to other information sites, decorate more and provide more pages. in addition, if I knew how to work dreamweaver better, I would have tried to make my website look more professionally done instead of basic.

Final Website idea

I have decided to create a website about the psychology field, specifically clinical psychologist. I chose this idea, because it is my all time goal to become a clinical psychologist and aid people; thus, it would be cool to display my perspective of the world of psychology through my own website.  

Web design

I learned that in web design people use codes to create effects on websites. It reminds me of how people used to use codes to add special effects to their myspaces. In addition, it seems like it is difficult to create a website with all of the codes and links. I haven't totally figured out what type of website that I want to create yet, but I am thinking about creating one that has to do with either fashion and cosmetics, music, Art/drawing, or tattoos.Who knows, I might even attemp to design one about psychology-my major, because that is also interesting to me. Hopefully i'll have something figured out soon and will be able to create a descent website.

August Term

I enjoyed experimenting with photoshop this august term and I hope to get better at it during the fall. We have done a few fun projects so far and I look forward to the others. Overall this is a pretty neat class.

What I think about photoshop

My favorite tool to use so far is the magic wand, because I like to change the color of backgrounds. In addition, my favorite effect to use is the outter glow effect because I think that it makes the words stand out more. The project that I like the most this far would be designing the T-Shirts, because I did not struggle with it that much, plus I actually enjoyed creating one. Although I am not too fond of photoshop, I am giving it a chance. Maybe I would like it more if I actually knew how to use it better, but until then I am taking it one step at a time.

What I did This Summer'12

This summer my brothers came home from working over seas near Russia for the military, and that was very exciting because I got to see them again. Besides that I spent most of my summer bonding and shopping with my mom. I didn't get a chance to travel this time, but hopefully next time I will venture out more. Besides that I had a pretty chill summer at home.
